// 02 — WHY SPEAK
Built by the community, for the community
CollabDays Belgium is the country’s largest free, community-driven conference for people working with Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, AI and Copilot, and the security stack around them. It brings together information workers, makers, IT professionals and developers for one practical Saturday of learning and conversation.
This event carries real heritage: it follows nine years of SharePoint Saturday Belgium run by BIWUG, then evolved into CollabDays as the Microsoft ecosystem expanded. From 2025 onwards, Belgian PowerAddicts joined as co-organisers, strengthening the programme with Power Platform and Copilot Studio perspectives alongside classic Microsoft 365 content.
What makes this stage special is its honesty. The organisers are volunteers, speakers travel to share what they have learned, and sponsors support the experience without turning sessions into ads. If your session helps the community ship better solutions, avoid mistakes, or understand change more clearly, it belongs here.

Topics we want on stage
We are looking for clear, relevant and experience-driven sessions. Practical value matters more than buzzwords, and first-hand lessons matter more than polished marketing language.
Microsoft 365
Tenant management, collaboration, modern workplace practices, content services, productivity and real-world delivery patterns.
AI & Copilot
Practical Copilot implementation, agent scenarios, prompt patterns, readiness, governance and lessons learned from adoption.
Power Platform
Apps, automations, data, governance, ALM, Copilot Studio and patterns that help makers and pro devs work better together.
Azure
Cloud architecture, integration, identity-driven solutions, platform operations and engineering practices that support modern collaboration workloads.
Security & Identity
Defender, Entra, Zero Trust, compliance, threat response, hardening and identity strategies that stand up in practice.
Governance, ALM & Adoption
Frameworks, rollout stories, operating models and the people-and-process side of making Microsoft technology work sustainably.
// 04 — SESSION FORMATS
Different ways to share what you know
We welcome a mix of voices, styles and experience levels. Both experienced and first-time speakers are encouraged to submit.
Full-length presentations
Structured talks with a strong narrative, clear takeaways and practical depth for the audience.
Co-presented sessions
Two voices, complementary expertise and stronger discussion-driven delivery for more complex topics.
Live demos and walk-throughs
Hands-on, practical and direct. Show what works, what failed and what people should do next.
Case studies and lessons learned
Show the audience what happened in a real project, why choices were made and what you would do differently now.
// 05 — HOW SESSIONS ARE SELECTED
What the review team is looking for
Relevance and clarity
Tell us what your session is about, who it is for and why it matters now. Clear abstracts stand out.
Practical value
The audience wants insights they can apply. Prioritise reality, not hype.
Balance across the programme
The final schedule aims for a strong mix of topics, formats and speaker voices across the day.
// 06 — SUBMISSION TIPS
How to make your proposal stronger
Lead with the problem
Show what challenge you solved, what decision you faced or what pattern the audience will understand better afterwards.
Use specifics
Concrete tools, tenant scenarios, architecture decisions, adoption outcomes and governance trade-offs help reviewers evaluate fit.
Say what people will learn
A strong session abstract makes the audience benefit obvious in one short paragraph.
First-time speakers are welcome
If your experience is real and your story is useful, you do not need a long speaker résumé to belong on this stage.
// 07 — WHY THIS EVENT MATTERS
From SharePoint Saturday to CollabDays — a Belgian community tradition
Speak here and you become part of a long-running, volunteer-built community story. The day closes the way it always has: with SharePint, where hallway conversations continue and ideas turn into future collaborations.
